So. On our way down to breakfast this morning, the lift stopped. An hour and a half later the lift technician was able to open the doors and let us out! The air was starting to get very stuffy by then and we were all light-headed as we breathed the fresh air! We spent the time with another couple and a girl from NZ who had been in both the earthquakes. Nobody had water, the lady had easter eggs though, we all had one. The hotel were most apologetic and we got free breakfast and parking. Interesting morning to say the least!
