We got this sprouts grower and the kids have been excited watching them grow. We have four different types of seed and we will put a new lot in every 4 days and will then have continuous sprouts.

This week is my first week of a rotating managers roster, which means not as many nights. Yay! I have been unloading trucks with the forklift. This pallet came unwrapped which is a big no-no. We take photos as evidence.

I have photos for every day, but our Internet has been so slow every time I tried to upload them that I stopped. Our connection seems better, so I will try my hardest to catch up!

Trick or Treat!!

Wendy, Lucy, Jackson, Sam and Kenny scored very well for their first time Trick or Treating! Their buckets were full!

Sam lost his third tooth in a week this afternoon! (The top middle one today!)

Our friends from Forbes came to visit today for brunch. 

Finnlay is a year older then Lucy, Sam is a month older then Bronte and Jonah is 3 months older then Jackson. Bec and I met on a parenting forum when we were both pregnant with the 6 year olds and have been friends since.

I got this dishwasher from work for $5. Our one died about 18 months ago, and we haven't been able to find the replacement part. This one was a return, because it leaked after the first use, and would have been thrown in the bin. Chris swapped the pump for the pump in our old one and we have a dishwasher again!

I went out for dinner with the girls tonight, then we went to the club afterwards.

6th May

Jackson and I spent all day playing Go Fish, he convinced Lucy and Sam to play with him when they got home from school.

5th May

After the battery for the Jeep dying today and yesterday Chris grabbed a new one at lunch time. Here it is sitting waiting for him to get home this afternoon and to install it.

He just got a big bump to his head and has ice on but he can still manage a smile for me. Gorgeous boy!

We had our Easter hunt at mum's today. She had done clues for us, which we haven't done for a while. We all had fun, except for me getting 2 thorns in my finger when I was looking for a clue on the reserve!

Meg bought me a new present for my bike today. Its a tag along, it attaches to my bike so one of the boys can ride on the back. It was really easy and the extra peddle power from Sam was great

29th April

I got a free popcorn machine from work last night, someone was getting rid of it, only used once before. We gave it a test run this morning and it was fabulous. Lots more popcorn for the kids!

28th April

I helped at the school holiday program at the church today. They didn't have enough helpers so I went along, it was Jackson's first time, they don't normally accept kids until preschool but because I was there he could. He (and Lucy and Sam) had a great day!

27th April

It was an amazing day today, I was with Nat and Cristian for the birth of their new son, Gabriel. He is just lovely and Nat did so well!

26th April

We spent the last 2 nights with Jono and Jane in Nowra, and I have loved having lots of cuddles with Duke. He is 5 weeks old now and just beautiful!

25th April

We went to Jamberoo Rec Park today. We had a blast, though it was a bit cold! In the far lane making a splash is Lucy, the next lane is me, and coming down the hill is Sammy. This was one of our favourites, the Taipan was awesome though, Lucy and I loved it!

HAPPY EASTER! Thankfully the Easter Bunny found the kids at the coast and they were spoilt!

23rd April

Beach day. The water was freezing so I was rugged up on the sand. But these crazies spent lots of time in the water and loved it!

22nd April

We drove to the coast today. On the stretch of road between Canberra and the turn off for Bungendore there was a massive convoy of Jaguars. We counted 20, and I'm sure there were more.

21st April

Caitlin had an operation today to remove a lump from her neck. I popped in to see how she was and she was up and about, though looked a bit pale!

Sam and Jackson came into work with me while I did a few things during the day. They were so excited to sit on the cleaning machine (Sadie)

I got 2 of these little shirts from work, one for Nat's baby and one for Jono and Jane's little Duke. They are so cute.

First day of the school holidays! The kids played cops and robbers, Jackson was the robber, and not happy to be in the photo!

17th April

So. On our way down to breakfast this morning, the lift stopped. An hour and a half later the lift technician was able to open the doors and let us out! The air was starting to get very stuffy by then and we were all light-headed as we breathed the fresh air! We spent the time with another couple and a girl from NZ who had been in both the earthquakes. Nobody had water, the lady had easter eggs though, we all had one. The hotel were most apologetic and we got free breakfast and parking. Interesting morning to say the least!

16th April

For our anniversary Chris surprised me with a night out. We went to Hogs Breath for dinner, where I had the most scrummiest steak sandwich I have ever had. We went to the movies, and stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It was lovely!

15th April

Sammy went to his first slumber party tonight, and they went to see Rio at the movies. This is the gift we gave Oscar, who turned 7.

14th April

Jackson is waiting to start his swimming lesson.

13th April

The school are having a writing challenge. All the students need to collectively write for 1000 hours and then the principal will dress up as something.  Sam reached his bronze (2 hours) silver (5 hours) and today brought home his gold (7 hours) certificates. He will be invited to a special morning tea with Mr Gniel as a reward. Lucy has a lot more hours to try to get to, so hasn't reached it quite as fast!

12th April

It was our 8 year wedding anniversary today. Chris gave me this lovely rose, and we are going out to celebrate on Saturday night. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband.

11th April

Today was the first day of my 2 day course to get my forklift licience! I was terrified at first, but then really enjoyed it. This was my first drive of the forklift.

10th April

Sunday is my baking day for school snacks for the week. Saves lots of money and the kids love the home-made stuff! This weeks snacks are banana muffins and chocolate brownies! Yum

9th April

Saturday night....work....
I caught up on all the data entry from last night. Highlight of the night was one of the co-ordinators giving me 2 movie tickets to say thanks for all the work I am doing at the moment. I am running the entire replenishment department for the month.

8th April

It was the Cross Country carnival today. Lucy came 3rd and wendy came 4th in their 2km run! Well done to them both, they will be going to the district carnival next term.

Sammy had the day off school today to rest as his cough is getting worse. He and Jackson had fun playing Where's Wally on the iPad.

I had my first appointment at the chiropractor today. I have had a trapped nerve for 2 weeks and the difference afterwards was amazing! I could move my neck again!

1.30am.... Jackson has croup, so a trip to the ER was needed. They gave him 8 puffs of ventolin till he could breathe properly! They also gave him panadol and redipred, and then he vomitted all over Barry, the gay Asian dr, who screamed! Haha

28th March

Jackson was star of the day at preschool today. One of the things they get to do is bring home the Mystery Box. Jackson has filled his with Duplo and his classmates have to ask questions to guess what it is.

Each year Bunnings have a Visions and Values awards night. They give out awards for team member of the year and some silly ones too. This year was celebrating Belconnens 5th Birthday. It was a fun night. This is Selu and I with the 2 big bosses.
It was a Grease Lightning night, Selu got the era wrong and dressed as someone from the 70's and I was a Pink Lady
